Effective date: April 1, 2026 | Last updated: April 7, 2026

Welcome to Qingdao Spa (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our professional in-room Chinese massage services, website (www.qingdaospa.com), and any related communications. By booking our service or interacting with our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Our Services

Qingdao Spa provides licensed, professional in-room Chinese therapeutic massage (Tui Na and acupressure) exclusively to hotels and residences within designated districts of Qingdao (Shinan, Shibei, Laoshan, Huangdao). Our service includes a 60-minute full-body massage delivered by a certified, background-checked therapist. All services are strictly therapeutic and comply with local Chinese regulations. We do not offer any non-therapeutic or illegal services.

2. Booking & Confirmation

Bookings are made via WhatsApp (+86 13656201353) or Telegram (+86 13656201353). To confirm an appointment, you must provide:

  • Hotel name and full address
  • Your registered guest name (as on hotel reservation)
  • Room number
  • Preferred date and time
  • Any special requests (e.g., therapist gender)

A booking is considered confirmed only after we send you a confirmation message. Same-day bookings are subject to therapist availability. We reserve the right to decline any booking for legitimate reasons (e.g., hotel restrictions, safety concerns, or unavailability).

3. Pricing & Payment

Our standard service fee is 598 RMB for a 60-minute session. This fee excludes round-trip taxi transportation for the therapist, which typically ranges from 40 to 100 RMB (receipt provided upon request). The total amount is paid directly to the therapist in cash (RMB), WeChat Pay, or Alipay at the end of the session. No deposit or prepayment is required. We do not store any payment information. Prices are subject to change; however, confirmed bookings will honor the price quoted at the time of confirmation.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment at no charge if you notify us at least 2 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the appointment may incur a cancellation fee of 100 RMB (to cover the therapist’s travel expenses). If the therapist arrives at your hotel and is denied entry by hotel staff or you are not present in the room after a reasonable waiting period (10 minutes), the full service fee (598 RMB) may be charged. If we cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., therapist emergency), you will not be charged.

5. Hotel Access & Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that your hotel allows outside visitors. We will coordinate with the hotel when possible, but we are not liable if hotel security denies access. If access is denied through no fault of yours, we will cancel the appointment free of charge. You agree to provide accurate hotel information and to be reachable via WhatsApp/Telegram prior to the appointment.

6. User Conduct & Health Acknowledgment

By using our service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you do not have any medical condition that would make massage therapy inadvisable (e.g., acute injuries, contagious skin conditions, fever, recent surgery, blood clots, or severe osteoporosis). You agree to inform the therapist of any health concerns, allergies, or injuries before the session. You agree to behave respectfully toward the therapist; any inappropriate, abusive, or illegal behavior will result in immediate termination of the session with no refund and may be reported to local authorities.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qingdao Spa and its therapists shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use or inability to use our service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party; (iii) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim. Massage therapy involves physical manipulation; while our therapists are licensed and trained, you assume the inherent risks associated with massage. In the event of an injury directly caused by therapist negligence, liability is limited to the cost of the session.

8. No Medical Advice

Our massage services are for relaxation and wellness purposes only. They are not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment. You should consult a qualified physician for any medical concerns. We do not make any claims regarding the therapeutic efficacy of massage for specific medical conditions.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Qingdao Spa and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission. The name “Qingdao Spa” and our logo are trademarks.

10. Privacy

Your use of our service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Qingdao, Shandong Province, in accordance with the rules of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC). The arbitration award shall be final and binding. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
